Greetings from the President

自分自身のアイデンティティを大切にしつつ、国籍に囚われない生き方を選択した仲間の想いを継承し、
発達した技術によって言語の壁がなくなったいま、小さな世界に留まらずに地球上で挑戦を続けたい想いで
会社を設立しました。

弊社の事業に欠かせないのが“台湾”です。台湾での駐在経験で多くのことを学びました。
複雑な歴史を持つ台湾の方々は、言語、思考、生活、商習慣など、世界中の文化の違いを受け入れ、
大きな包容力をもって、柔軟な姿勢で世界で挑戦されています。
私にとって台湾の方々は、生きることの素晴らしさを教えてくれる、そんな存在です。

社名の「便利箱」は、台湾の郵便局の宅配用の箱の名称をそのままに、国と国、会社と会社、会社と人、
人と人、全ての間を行き来する存在として、誰かの役に立つ想いを込めています。

地球に生まれたのであれば、地球上で生きる。
世界中の皆さまのお役にたつ存在になれたらと考えております。

“Taiwan” is an indispensable part of our business. I have learned a lot from my experience in Taiwan.
The people of Taiwan, with its complex history, accept cultural differences from around the world in language, thought, lifestyle, business practices, and so on.
They are taking on challenges in the world with a flexible attitude and great receptivity.
For me, Taiwanese people are the ones who teach me the beauty of life.

The name of our company, “Benribako(Utility Box),” is derived from the name of a post office box used in Taiwan, which is used to deliver packages to and from countries, companies and companies, companies and people, and people and people.

スポーツ Sports	野球　…　11歳（1988年）に始め、40歳（2017年）になるまで現役でした。 ランニング　…　36歳（2013年）から走り始め、年間600km～1,000kmほど走っています。 スノーボード　…　26歳（2003年）に始めてから、最近は2～3年に1度程度滑っています。 Baseball … I started at age 11 (1988) and remained active until I turned 40 (2017). Running … I started running when I was 36 (2013) and run about 600 km to 1,000 km per year. Snowboarding … I started snowboarding when I was 26 (2003) and have recently been skiing about once every 2 to 3 years.
音楽 Music	2013年に台湾に赴任してから、オフィスでyoutubeで選曲した音楽を、スタッフが持ち回りで決めていました。あるとき、エコスミスの「Cool Kids」（2013年）を聴いてから、徐々に洋楽に興味を持ち、ジャスティン・ティンバーレイクの「Suit & Tie」（2013年）を聴き、一気に洋楽好きが加速してから、洋楽ばかり聴いています。 ▼好きなアーティスト ブルーノ・マーズ、ジャスティン・ティンバーレイク、リアーナ、エド・シーラン、シーア、クリーン・バンディット、ザラ・ラーソン、ジョナス・ブラザーズ、アリアナ・グランデ、ジェシー・J、ビービー・レクサ、DNCE、エコスミス After I was transferred to Taiwan in 2013, the staff decided to rotate the music selections on youtube in the office. 映画 Movies	子供の頃、小児喘息を患っていたことで、発作止めのメプチンエアーが、自宅に常備されていました。「グーニーズ」がTVで放映されているのを観た時に、主人公のマイキー（ショーン・アスティン）が吸入器をシュッとするのを見て、自分とシンクロしたのをきっかけに映画が好きになりました。 ▼好きな映画 グーニーズ、トレーニング デイ、善き人のためのソナタ、スイス・アーミー・マン、ジョン・ウィック シリーズ、イコライザー シリーズ As a child, I had childhood asthma, and Meptin Air, an anti-seizure medication, was a permanent fixture in my home. 俳優 Actor Actress	映画が好きになり、結果的に映画業界でお仕事をさせていただいた際、業界用語を多く学びました。転職してすぐのころデンゼル・ワシントン主演の「トレーニング デイ」が“ボックス公開”されました。“ボックス公開”とは、映画館の上映スケジュールの空きを埋めるために映画がブッキングされて公開されることを言います。そう、「トレーニング デイ」でデンゼル・ワシントンがアカデミー賞主演男優賞を受賞しているにも関わらず、日本では“ボックス公開”されている作品なんです。日本とアメリカの文化の違いを感じた瞬間でもありますが、デンゼル・ワシントンの名演、是非、観ていただけたらと思っています。 ▼好きな俳優 デンゼル・ワシントン、エイミー・アダムス I fell in love with movies, and as a result, learned a lot of industry jargon when I worked in the film industry. 読書 Books	2005年頃に、映画業界の仕事が多忙となって、仕事に対しての考え方を見直した時がありました。この時、祖父が修理しながら同じ腕時計を永く使っているのを思い出し、時計職人になろうと考え始めた際に、手に取った小説がジェフリー・ディーヴァー著「ウォッチ・メイカー」でした。これを機に、ジェフリー・ディーヴァー作品を読むようになり、読書が習慣になりました。 ▼好きな著書 ジェフリー・ディーヴァー作品の小説、サードドア精神的資産のふやし方、FACTFULNESS、1兆ドルコーチ、起業家の思考と実践術、夢をかなえるゾウシリーズ Around 2005, there was a time when I became so busy working in the film industry that I had to rethink my approach to my work. 食べ物 Foods	最初に就職した会社が東京都八王子市にありました。もともと、麺類が好きだったこともありますが、八王子市は“八王子ラーメン”というジャンルがあるほどラーメン店が多い都市で、中でも、家系ラーメンの名店「縁家」（既に閉店）は週に１回、必ず行くほどハマったのを覚えています。 滷肉飯（魯肉飯、ルーロウファン）を初めて食べたのはアメリカのロサンゼルスで、紅油抄手（ホンヨウチャオショウ）は台湾留学時代（2008年9月～2009年2月）です。食べた瞬間に「やばい！美味い♪」と一目惚れしました。 ▼好きな食べ物 ラーメン、滷肉飯（魯肉飯）、紅油抄手 The first company I worked for was located in Hachioji City, Tokyo. I remember that I was so addicted to ramen that I would go to the famous “Enya” (already closed) once a week without fail. I remember I was so addicted to it that I would go there at least once a week. The first time I ate 滷肉飯 (pork rice, Lu Rou Fan) was in Los Angeles, U.S.A., and 紅油抄手 (red oil dumplings, Hong-You Chao-shou) was when I studied in Taiwan (September 2008 to February 2009). スイーツ Sweets	本格的なスイーツ男子ではないですが、自分なりにスイーツ好きな“えせ・スイーツ男子”で、和菓子から洋菓子まで、基本的には何でも食べます。バウムクーヘンは、子供の頃にユーハイムのバウムクーヘンをいただいたのをきっかけに、冷蔵庫で少し冷やしてから食べるのが好きになりました。カヌレは、妻との新婚生活を始めた頃、友達が遊びに来てくれた時に買ってきてくれて、「しっとりしたかりんとうだね」と言って、全否定されましたが、好きになりました。マロングラッセも、いただきものがきっかけです。 ▼好きなスイーツ バウムクーヘン、カヌレ、マロングラッセ I am not a full-fledged sweets guy, but I am a “fake sweets guy” who likes sweets in my own way, and I eat basically anything from Japanese sweets to Western sweets. I like to eat baumkuchen after cooling it slightly in the refrigerator, which started when I received a Uheim baumkuchen when I was a child. Cannoulet was bought by a friend when he came to visit me at the beginning of my newly married life with my wife. お酒 Alcohol	ギネスビールを好きになったきっかけが何だったか思い出せませんが、一般的なビールは“のど越し”爽やかなものが多く、いわゆる「辛口」ビールが日本の主流です。この「辛口」があまり得意ではないようで、何かの時に黒ビールを飲んでみようと思いギネスビールを手にしたのがきっかけだったと思います。台湾駐在の頃も、ギネスビールが好きすぎて、キャンペーン期間中にノベルティの全てをいただいてしまったほどです。 浄酎（じょうちゅう）は、2021年4月にナオライ株式会社の代表取締役／三宅社長のセミナーに伺ってからハマっています。見た目のスタイリッシュさと、壮大な社会課題の解決に取り組む情熱に影響を受け、何かのお祝い事があれば、贈るようにしています。 ▼好きなお酒 ギネスビール、浄酎 ※浄酎についてはこちらをどうぞ　→　https://jo-chu.com/ I can’t remember how I came to like Guinness beer, but most beers in Japan are “dry” beers that have a refreshing “throat” sensation. I think it was when I picked up a Guinness beer because I was not very fond of this “dry” beer, and I wanted to try a black beer at some point. Even when I was stationed in Taiwan, I liked Guinness beer so much that I received all the novelties during the campaign. I have been hooked on Jochu since April 2021, when I visited a seminar by Mr. Miyake, the president/president of Naolai Co.
